The first Batch of Short Circuit came to an end today. Thanks to all the participants for making the entire workshop a huge success. We hope you had as much fun learning as we had conducting it.

It's time to put on your thinking caps. Cloud Mentor proudly presents to you, The Brainiac Challenge. We will give you one real life problem which people face quite often, and you have to come up with an innovative solution to solve the problem.

This month's problem statement is:

Arun and his friends are getting late for the movies, and are unable to find a parking space. They have been driving around the locality for quite some time. He is unnecessarily wasting a lot of fuel and time, not to forget the pollution that is resulting. If only there was a way for Arun to know where a free parking space was. He would have gone there directly avoiding all problems.

Many people face this problem of parking - We want you to come up with a solution that can solve this parking problem using technology

We have top 3 prizes!!! The Brainiac Challenge has 3 categories in which you can win awesome prizes. The top 3 entries will also get a chance to take their solutions to the next level and present them in front of others!

The top 3 prizes are:

• Most Innovative idea - The Cloud Mentor team will award this prize for the most innovative idea. Think out of the box, and come up with your awesome idea!
  
• Most Popular idea - The idea with the most number of Facebook Likes gets this prize. So, if your idea is most liked by your friends and other members, the prize is yours!
• Best BlueJack Tech idea - If your idea uses any two of the four technologies that were covered under BlueJack, then you have a chance of winning this one! The technologies are: Cloud Computing, Sensors, Microcontrollers and Wireless technologies

Rules of the contest:

• The solution should use technology of some type
• Post your solution on the wall of the Facebook page of Cloud Mentor
• Length of solution should not exceed 150 words
• You can also use an image to explain your idea - You can draw on paper and then scan it or take a photo of it and upload it, or you can directly draw on the computer and upload it.
• All entries must be posted on or before 31st July, 2011.
